American baseball fan dies after falling from the bleachers

Arlington (AFP) - In a tragic way on Thursday, a U.S. baseball game came when the Texas Rangers at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington died. The man fell while trying to catch a ball on Texas outfielder Josh Hamilton, upside down from the stands seven meters deep.

A year ago in the same stadium had a similar incident occurred. On 6 July 2010 had fallen Tyler Morris from the second to the first platform level. He had also tried to catch a ball. Morris retired thereby including a fractured skull.
"We are deeply sorry that that happened again, such a tragic incident. Josh Hamilton is deeply shocked," said club chief Rangers Nolan Ryan, "our thoughts and prayers belong to the family of the deceased."
