Neil Young, Shad, Karkwa Among Earlyarrangeno Winners

TORONTO - Winners of 32 non-televised Juno awards were announced Saturday night in Toronto, with Neil Young winning pro adult alternative photograph album of the day.

Young, and the recipient of the Allan Waters Humanitarian verdict next to the 40th anniversary of Canada's biggest song prize, earned his sixth Juno pro the Daniel Lanois-produced photograph album, Le Noise.

"The big I step the more appreciative I am," alleged Young, resplendent in a red scarf and black bolero top hat.

It was his to start with advent next to a Juno Awards performance in 29 years.

Young, who earned a ranking approval from the artists in attendance, alleged he found it right to win an "adult" alternative verdict. "I'm an adult, there's veto alternative," alleged Young, clean-shaven but pro the make mutton-chop sideburns. "Other fill plant all sorts of handles on albums, but it's all song to me."

Another highlight was the poetic musings of Jim Byrnes, winner of the blues photograph album of the day pro his highest Everywhere West.

"I'm fair frustrating to tell a valid story," alleged Byrnes, who lost both his legs in a car accident in 1972, and and appears on the Canadian television progression Hellcats. Byrnes, who walks with a cane and some time ago performed with Chuck Berry, alleged he feels veto need to grow to be a motivational spokesperson. His career is motivation adequate.

"I step elsewhere in attendance and live my life, man, I don't mark out myself by my disability," alleged Byrnes. "I hope other fill consider it me acting and singing songs and, you know, they'll be inspired to live their life, too."

The Juno Awards TV program will take place Sunday, evolution 27 next to Toronto's Air Canada Centre.
